Position Your Ring Doorbell Fully Over Brick - With Full Offset!

Is your Ring Doorbell 2, 3, 3+, or 4 mounted on trim that's set back from your brick or stone siding? This **Full Offset Brick Extension Mount** brings your doorbell forward and positions it fully over your brick, providing maximum clearance for storm doors and mailboxes while maintaining excellent visibility.

It mounts easily to your existing trim (minimum 9/16" wide) without drilling into masonry, positioning your Ring doorbell correctly relative to the brick face.

How it Works: Full Offset (1 1/8")

This mount features our widely compatible FULL OFFSET, which shifts the center of your Ring Doorbell approximately 1 1/8 inches horizontally towards the brick side relative to the center of the narrow 9/16" mount base. This positions the doorbell fully over the brick face.

This configuration works well for most installations, positioning the doorbell completely over the brick and providing maximum clearance for storm doors and mailboxes.

Base Dimensions & Mounting: The extension base is 9/16 inches wide (requires >= 9/16" surface). Standard mounting hole spacing is 2.5 inches (center-to-center). Ensure solid mounting on trim. Wall-mounting screws not included.

Angled Trim? If your trim is angled, add our Angle Shims (sold separately) to ensure a perpendicular mount.

CRITICAL: Measure & Select Your Extension Length!

Choose the correct length to clear your brickwork. Measure carefully:

  • Measure the exact distance straight out from the surface where the mount base will attach (your trim) to the outermost face of your brick.
  • Order THIS measurement as your required Extension Length. (Do NOT subtract doorbell thickness for offset mounts).

How to Install Your Full Offset Extension

This mount uses two main printed pieces: the Extension Base and the Doorbell Adapter Bracket.

  1. Tools & Prep: Gather: Drill, PH1 & PH2 Philips Screwdrivers/Bits, Level, Anchors (if needed), Ring security screwdriver/bit (from doorbell box).
    For battery Ring doorbells: Note the removable battery. Set aside before installation.
  2. Mount Extension Base: Position the Extension Base (correct length/offset) on trim over wires (ensure offset provides desired clearance). Attach securely using appropriate screws (#6 size likely, use PH2) and anchors if needed into the 2.5" spaced holes.
    Ensure base is level. Drill pilot holes. Don't overtighten.
  3. Attach Doorbell Adapter Bracket: Route wires through the Doorbell Adapter Bracket (top piece for battery Ring). Align onto Extension Base. Attach using the four small center screws provided (likely #4 screws / PH1 driver).
    Use correct PH1 bit. Tighten until flush. Check for/clear debris if needed. Do NOT over-torque.
  4. Wire Doorbell: Connect wires to your Ring Doorbell following Ring's instructions. Tuck excess wire into base cavity.
  5. Mount Ring Doorbell:
    • For battery Ring models (2, 3, 3+, 4): Align the Ring Doorbell body onto the Doorbell Adapter Bracket.
    • Secure the doorbell to the Adapter Bracket using the small screws PROVIDED WITH THIS MOUNT (typically #4 / PH1 driver). Do NOT use Ring's wall screws here.
    • Once the body is secure, install the removable battery (if your model has one) and attach the faceplate using the security screw(s) and tool PROVIDED BY RING.
    Use correct drivers/tools for each screw type. Tighten gently.
  6. Final Check & Power On: Ensure doorbell is secure. Install battery if applicable. Test with Ring app.

Follow safety rules & Ring's guidelines. Use correct anchors/screws for wall type. Correct screwdriver size prevents stripping.
