Do It Yourself
You measure. You haul. You install.
You pick out a door, haul it home, and attempt the install with a YouTube tutorial.
Problem: Even a tiny mismeasurement can cost hours of frustration—or worse, a door that doesn’t fit.
Why it backfires:
- Measurements have to be exact—down to the ⅛ inch—or the door won’t close right.
- You might need specialty tools, hardware, or more hands than you expected.
- Instructions aren’t tailored to your doorframe, especially in older homes.
- If something goes wrong, it’s on you—and often not returnable.
👉 Result: A weekend project turns into a headache (and sometimes a second purchase).
